An organization of soldiers and scientists oathbound to imagine a world of perfect order.
FIRST APPEARANCE: Chapter 1 Season 4
LAST APPEARANCE: Chapter 3 Season 2
The Imagined Order (IO) was formed by a secret circle that exploits the power of creation. Their reckless use of technology to kidnap intelligent and powerful beings as to create a “perfect” society has destroyed lives without number. They are the primary antagonists of The Zero War Era.
A master of genetics, Geno is the IO’s founder. He considers himself perfect, immortal to aging, and believes that putting fighters through their worst will help him find the Omniverse’s best — all while he hides.
Most of the IO’s plans hinge on the Zero Point and the Islands that surround it to build The Loop — a battlefield for observation known as Fortnite Battle Royale’s gameplay.
With memories of their past completely suppressed, fighters — nicknamed "Loopers" — are forcibly taken from their worlds and thrown into the Loop to be cataloged, analyzed, and flooded with instincts of violence.
The smartest and strongest are taken from the Loop to compose the IO’s departments, most of them featured in the Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point & Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War comics.

THEIR
HISTORY
The IO was first known as The Oathbound, a legion of medieval knights using alchemy before technology to discover how to travel between worlds. Geno was then known as The Ageless, a champion king who had discovered genetic immortality and had a white streak of hair; a hereditary “flaw” which he would later “perfect” by removing.
Remnants of this age can be seen in The Vault, a construct of almost celestial quality guarded by Singularity in secret, harnessing the Zero Point for the IO during millennia. (Chapter 1)
Surrounding the Vault were the bureaucratic offices of the Island Team, a status that reflects most of the modern IO. They operated under the Island, navigating in-and-out of the Loop through bunkers, without ever knowing that the Vault was even there — only digging it up later on. (Chapter 1 Season 8)
The Inner Circle has always fed only the bare minimum for operatives to carry out their mission, as to not risk any unwanted attention.

The Vault was eventually destroyed by Paradigm, one of The Seven: some of the few to escape the Loop and form a centuries-old resistance against the IO. (Chapter 1 Season 9)
After the events of Chapter 1 Season X, while the Seven managed to save the Zero Point from exploding, the IO tricked them into containing it within The Bridge, home to the Island Team’s modern operations under the Island; marking a new era for its operations.
By using panels to attune the Zero Point to specific vibrational frequencies, the IO could bring whoever it needed to analyze whenever necessary.
The Loop’s best warriors have their past erased and are trained to become guards of The Bridge.
If any of the IO's secrets escaped, they — disguising themselves as the Island’s “government” — would erase anyone’s memory and/or gaslight them as nothing more than conspiracy theorists, sending Enforcers to enact their will.
Whenever The Bridge was under attack by those seeking the power of the Zero Point, the IO would leave anyone inhabiting the Island behind, evacuating their entire Island Team to work remotely until things were under control.

THEIR
DEFEAT
John “Jonesy” Jones was one of the most decorated agents of the Island Team, ever since he was just known as a default Outfit, the original Loopers. Jonesy negotiated the safety of his family in their dangerous world, and, in return, he would be under the IO’s oath forever.
He served the IO for centuries, due to the Island Team’s immortality on the Island, but the Inner Circle never even knew him; only noticing his rebellion when he joined the Seven, instead.
The IO is built on paranoia and distrust, as the Inner Circle distances itself from the Island Team — hoping their silence means power, and that power grants loyalty.
After a Zero War that spanned centuries against the Seven for control of the Zero Point, the IO then attempted to destroy the Island and its people with a doomsday weapon, The Collider, but it was stopped by the Seven — this time, for good.
The Bridge and the Islands surrounding it were destroyed after the events of Chapter 3 Season 4. The IO is dismantled — but the Loop goes on.

FUN FACTS:
- The IO was always teased as “they”, a presence controlling the entire game since the beginning. They have been in control of the Island for thousands of years, but the Seven have only fought them for centuries.
- Most of the IO’s inner structures are based on various real life military operations.
- Dr. Slone holds doctorates in multiple realities. Most workers of the IO are geniuses sabotaged to be exploited without rebelling.
- Most Chapter 1 Outfits with cool tactical gear were once agents of the IO, including Rook and Shadow Ops.
- The IO’s emblem resembles a Panopticon, a prison where guards can observe their prisoners without being seen.
